Savavet Selaforte Tick and Flea Control Spot On for Dogs is available as ready to use solution in single-dose tubes for topical treatment of dogs six weeks of age and older and cats eight weeks of age and older.

Selamectin, a macrocyclic lactone acts as an agonist of the GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) neurotransmitter in nerve cells and also binds to glutamate-gated chloride channels in nerve and muscle cells of invertebrates.

In both cases, it blocks the transmission of neuronal signals of the parasites, which are either paralyzed or expelled out of the body. It also interferes with some parasites’ ability to reproduce by decreasing oviposition or causing improper oogenesis.

• Effective for the treatment and prevention of tick & flea infestation

Directions for use: 

• Apply between the shoulder blades. Part the fur and apply directly to the skin. Do not wipe or bathe for at least 5 days after application. Always choose the dose based on the body weight.
• Repeat after 1 month for maximum effectiveness.
